Are there powered campsites?

Yes, we have a wide range of powered sites of different size and shape to accomodate caravans, motorhomes, campertrailer, campervans or tents.

Do you have shower facilities at the park?

Yes, we do. 

Can I rebook the same dates in 12 months time?

While staying with us we provide you the opportunity to speak with our team on site and rebook for the same time in the following year before availability becomes live with our online bookings.

Please note, we will do our best to allocate your preferred site for your stay, but we cannot guarantee specific sites and we reserve the right to allocate sites at our discretion. For guests wishing to be allocated sites close to friends and family (who have already booked) please be sure to add their surnames and booking numbers in the special requirements field and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Our online bookings are live 11 months in advance so please be sure to discuss with our staff once you settle in.

Do you offer permanent sites?

We are currently at capacity for our permanent sites. Our remaining sites are focused on short stays with a maximum length of 50 days offered.

Is the park pet friendly?

Yes, we love to welcome your pooches to our park! Dogs are welcome provided they are on leash, cleaned up after and well behaved.

What if I need to change my reservation term?

Any change in reservation term will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply. Any extension to a booking is subject to availability. Early departure prior, or late arrival to the reserved date, no refund will be made. 

What is your cancellation policy?

Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy 

  • All reservations require full payment when the booking is made.  

  • On arrival we require a valid payment card to be kept on file for any additional charges incurred throughout your stay.   

  • Payment details will be kept securely on file 14 days after the original departure date of the reservation unless a future reservation with the same Guest Profile exists.  

  • Any extra guests must be paid for upon arrival. 

  • Cancellations outside of the below date ranges will incur a $25.00 cancellation fee, or you may choose to hold the full payment as a credit for a future booking. Cancellation within the below date ranges will result in forfeiture of the total payment.  

  • Off-peak seasons: 7 days prior to arrival 

  • Peak seasons: 14 days prior to arrival 

  • Peak seasons are any long weekend, school holidays, Melbourne Cup weekend, Easter weekend, Christmas and local or special events. Off-peak season is other periods outside peak season 

  • Seasonal campaigns may be promoted with a non-refundable cancellation policy. Where applicable this will be clearly displayed in the rate details during the booking process.  

  • We do not refund for early departures, Covid or weather-related cancellations.  

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.   

  • We do not refund weather related cancellations.

Do you offer on-site van storage?

Lake Colac Holiday Park, will not have onsite van storage. All vehicles and vans on site must be registered vehicles and booked into site or accommodation following all park rules
